Sridhar Chari - Technology Director
 Sridhar is a senior consultant with over 25 years experience in IT. Since 1989, Sridhar has been working for large blue chip customers across Melbourne including Australia Post, Telstra, BHP, Toll, Western Mining and Phillip Morris. Sridhar has a broad range of skills in the information management space which include: Information Architecture, Data Warehousing, data modelling, Database design and administration (Oracle & SQL Server), Business Objects reporting and OLAP technologies.
As a consultant, Sridhar has worked with various customers in a technical capacity, conducted reviews and evaluations for customers and provided significant value-add in establishing end solutions. As a senior consultant, he has in-depth hands-on experience with architecture, design and administration of VLDBs, data warehouses and large heterogeneous environments with complex information flows.
Over the past nine years, Sridhar has had a pivotal role in implementing and supporting the Corporate Data Warehouse at Australia Post. He also provides hands-on DBA support for the 7 TB data warehouse and associated data marts. He draws on vast experience with Star schemas and Microsoft OLAP cubes.
Richard Comerford - Project Director
 Richard has over 25 years IT experience, working for large corporations in both the UK & Australia.
He started his career as a Database Programmer and moved into Database Administration (DBA) for Barclays Bank International. Richard managed the DBA team for Global Operations at Barclays before emigrating to Australia in 1991.
Richard held positions including DBA Manager for Australia Post & BHP and as a Database Consultant for Digital before founding DBAInc in 1998 with Gary and Sridhar. When at Australia Post and BHP, Richard represented both companies on the Oracle Rdb Customer Advisory Council.
Over the last ten years, as a DBAInc Project Director and Sales Director, Richard has helped grow and develop the business to over 20 employees. He also works on the Telstra, FOXTEL, Australia Post & Toll Holdings accounts.
Gary Penman – Operations Director
 Gary has over 20 years IT experience working for large, Melbourne based corporations within Relational Database environments. He has performed the full spectrum of Database related IT roles including End-user Reporting, Application Development, Technical Support and Database Administration.
Gary has worked on a number of varied projects at different sites over the years which have included Road Safety (Vic Roads), Retail (Coles Supermarkets), Transport Logistics (Toll), Postal Services (Australia Post).
For the Past 10 years, Gary has been a Director of DBAInc, working in the DBA role on the Foxtel Pay-Tv and Bigpond Broadband Customer Subscriber systems for Telstra. |
