Solution/Services
Toll Logistics required DBAInc to provide onsite support, tuning and management for their 80gb database system, supporting 500 users across a cluster of 2 nodes. DBAInc has also been responsible for database archiving of 3-5 years worth of Toll data which has reduced the load on their operational database.
DBAInc have been involved in a number of operating system upgrades for Toll’s VMS system and provided ongoing support and development for Toll’s Transport Logistics System.
Additionally, DBAInc have implemented ‘DBAInc LogMiner’ to streamline data feed to a Reporting database. The product uses Oracle Rdb LogMiner to capture incremental changes. It reads from the database journals, captures incremental changes and moves the data to a Reporting database, thus reducing the load on the Operational database systems.
